Warranty and Returns for IT Refurbished Products
At Cartridge World, we're committed to delivering high-quality IT refurbished products and ensuring your satisfaction. Our warranty and returns policy is designed to provide you with peace of mind when shopping with us.
Product Warranties
In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our products come with the following warranties:
1-Year Limited Return-to-Base Warranty:
Most of our refurbished products are covered by a 1-Year Limited Return-to-Base Warranty unless otherwise specified. This warranty ensures that your product is free from defects in material and workmanship. If a covered product experiences a fault within this period, we will repair it or, if necessary, replace it with an equivalent refurbished product.
NOTE: Some products carry a shorter warranty.
Manufacturer Warranty:
Brand-new products purchased from us are covered by the manufacturer's warranties. In the event of a warranty claim for a new product, you have the choice to deal with either us or the manufacturer, depending on your preference.
6-Month Tablet & Phone Warranty:
For tablets, phones, and similar devices, we offer a 6-month warranty. If a tablet develops a fault within this period, we will take care of the necessary repairs or replacements.
Warranty Coverage
Our warranties cover faults and defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring your product functions as expected. However, there are certain exclusions, and the warranty does not cover:
Software: This includes the operating system, trial software, and preloaded software.
Virus and Malware: Any damage caused by viruses, infections, worms, or similar malicious code.
External Causes: This covers incidents such as accidents, abuse, misuse, and problems related to electrical power.
Unauthorized Servicing: Warranty is void if the product is serviced by a party not authorized by us, or if it is used in a manner not in accordance with product instructions.
Incompatible Accessories: Any issues arising from the use of accessories, parts, or components not supplied by us.
Unpaid Products: Products for which payment has not been received or are under dispute.
Damage: Damage due to misuse, abuse, riot, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, power failure, power reduction, telephone failure, or acts of God.
Installation Costs: The cost of installation, removal, or re-installation of the product or any of its components.
Expendable Items: Items with a limited lifespan, such as non-removable batteries, toner cartridges, and other operating supplies.
Cosmetic Damage: Purely cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, or other similar physical damages.
Battery Warranty
For your convenience, we also offer a 1-Year Limited Battery Warranty on all our batteries. All batteries are rigorously tested to hold a charge, but we cannot guarantee maximum run-time usage. If a battery is found to be non-functioning or unusable within the first year of purchase, we will provide a replacement at no cost. Please report any battery faults as soon as possible.
After the first year, reports of battery faults will not be valid. You have the option to contact us for a free refurbished battery replacement within the initial warranty period. We also offer brand-new batteries at discounted prices if you prefer to upgrade. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are here to support you with any warranty claims or inquiries. Feel free to reach out to us, and our dedicated team will assist you promptly.
