Cartridge World Australia and New Zealand has taken great lengths to ensure that the Cartridge World Branded product is a high quality product which is consistent across batches and has a very low defective rate.

2. Products are designed not to infringe the original equipment manufacturers Intellectual property. Key manufacturers have teams of intellectual property lawyers and designers to ensure that the product is fully safe in the marketplace.

CWANZ Australian Testing
Located in Cartridge World Australia and New Zealand head office in Brisbane Australia, this testing centre performs the following tasks:
- Testing potential new Cartridge World Branded products for quality print performance
- Testing potential new Cartridge World Branded products for ISO page yield
- Batch testing orders with products that are on the batch testing list
- Random spot checks on products
- Visual inspection of cartridges
- Testing firmware updates and compatibility with current chips on the Cartridge World cartridges
- Cartridge World Store requests
What testing is performed?
Our Testing Centre’s goal is to ensure consistent quality Cartridge World products. To reach this goal we have implemented the following:
Testing of new products before release
It’s important to remember we are not the manufacturer. What we are performing is a final QC check. Hundreds of tests are performed on the product by the manufacturer before it even reaches our shores. We aim to test a very high percentage of new products – although I’m sure everybody can understand with such a wide range of products not every new product may have final QC performed here in Australia.
What we check:
- Visual Inspection of the cartridge
- Quality check, by printing a wide range of test prints and inspecting those prints for flaws.
- ISO Page yield, we use the appropriate ISO page yield test which is exactly the same as what the OEM uses to ensure that the product reaches the same yield as per the OEM cartridge.
- Printing using different driver settings, double sided printing, etc
- Printing using different papers – for example with Inkjet we test with plain paper (copy papers), Inkjet coated papers, etc
- We also test for fix to paper – for example how the toner has fused to the paper or with Inkjet how resistant to water is the print.
- We note the product weight and compare against future batches.
